As the state’s only college of veterinary medicine, the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine serves the needs of society by training the next generation of veterinarians, by treating thousands of animal patients and by looking for the cause and cure of diseases that impact both animal and human health. Each year, approximately 100 students graduate and take the professional oath to use their scientific skills to benefit society through the protection of animal health and welfare, to relieve animal suffering and to promote public health. And each year, the UF Veterinary Hospitals and our satellite emergency clinic in Ocala, UF Pet Emergency Treatment Service, treat approximately 40,000 patients.
Developing highly-skilled, compassionate veterinarians takes extraordinary resources. Our work depends, in large part, on private gifts. The UF College of Veterinary Medicine welcomes cash, securities, real estate, bequests, gift annuities, and in-kind gifts. These resources support the college in all of its efforts to improve the health and welfare of our animal friends as well as human health.
Our students, faculty and staff are here for all animals. Come partner with us and see what a difference your tax-deductible gift can make for the future of all animals. For more information, call us at 352-294-4256. Meet our team here.
