Katherine Davies Miller has joined the UF College of Veterinary Medicine as senior director of advancement and alumni affairs.

Davies Miller has 14 years of experience working with alumni and donors to the University of Florida. Prior to joining the college, she worked for seven years at UF’s Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences, or UF/IFAS, in the office of advancement and was promoted to senior director there in 2021.  At IFAS, she managed the fundraising efforts for UF/IFAS Extension, as well as managing the team overseeing the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences and alumni giving.

Davies Miller is no stranger to UFCVM. As a student at Gainesville’s P.K. Yonge school, she worked in the college’s large animal hospital cleaning stalls and continued to work at the college throughout her time as a student at UF. After graduating with a bachelor of science degree in animal science, Davies Miller worked as a program assistant at our college from 2008 to 2010, first in human resources and then in the office of development and alumni affairs. In 2010, She was promoted to assistant director of development and alumni affairs at the college. An avid equestrian, Davies Miller competes in trail riding, hunter under saddle and western pleasure events.
