
Dr. Amanda House
Dana Zimmel, D.V.M., interim dean of the college, recently announced the following changes in its Office of Academic and Student Affairs.
Amanda M. House, D.V.M., a clinical professor of large animal medicine who served most recently as the college’s director of student affairs, has accepted an appointment as interim associate dean for academic and student affairs.
In her new role, House will oversee the entire office, including instructional and other activities associated with the college’s professional D.V.M. program, along with college recruitment, progress, and retention of students. She will work closely with Zimmel and with her associate dean counterparts in clinical service and research to address daily operational issues, as well as long term strategies.

Dr. Pam Ginn
Pamela Ginn, D.V.M., an associate professor of dermatological pathology, has accepted an appointment as acting assistant dean for academic and student affairs. In her new role, she will take point on admissions and academic advancement, as well as assisting with scholarships and awards.
An anatomic pathology specialist with an interest in dermatopathology, Ginn led the ASA office as associate dean from 2012-2015. She returned to the faculty, where she has continued to teach and pursue her dermatopathology interests.
“Please join me in welcoming Dr. House and Dr. Ginn to their new roles,” Zimmel said.
